SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Accuray Incorporated (NASDAQ: ARAY) , a global leader in the field of radiosurgery, today announced that its CyberKnife(R) Robotic Radiosurgery System has been used to treat more than 4,000 lung cancer patients worldwide. The company also reported that more than 40,000 patients in total have been treated with CyberKnife radiosurgery for tumors throughout the body. In April 2007, Accuray announced that the number of lung tumor patients treated with the CyberKnife System had surpassed 2,000.
